Fitting a 100mm PVC BSP Coupling

1. Securely fit a 100mm BSP threaded coupling in the interconnection foot. (Teflon tape should be used.)
2. Once the coupling is in place, drilling through the coupling to achieve the desired interconnection hole size.
3. By installing the coupling first, there is minimal risk of damaging the moulded thread in the interconnection foot.

Multiple Tank Configurations: The donut and bagel underground tanks can be combined in various configurations to achieve greater capacities. When connecting these tanks, it’s crucial to employ a 100mm coupling and swivel joint located near the tank to absorb any ground movement that might generate pressure or uneven loading on the pipework. Before backfilling, ensure proper support for any exposed pipework to prevent damage. Additionally, it’s highly recommended that when using interconnection fittings, the tank undergoes a water test before backfilling, as all Toroids undergo pressure testing for leaks at the factory. In the event of a leak at this junction, it becomes the installer’s responsibility to address the issue.
